While excelling in product quality and consumer understanding, BSH Northern Europe was continuously seeking innovative ways to simplify and ensure compliance in their internal processes. Specifically, they needed a solution for online purchases that could not be invoiced and for ad-hoc online purchases where one-time supplier creation was not desirable. Their main objectives were to achieve comprehensive control with pre-approvals for online purchases while providing flexibility in the selection of suppliers.
Mazepay's primary benefit for our company is that the Eurocard virtual credit cards allow us to make online payments for services and goods in situations where invoice payments are not possible or optimal. By including procurement in the pre-approval process, the Eurocard Mazepay solution ensures that every request is qualified for BSH's business rules. The highly customizable request form is easy for any employee to use, ensuring that the correct purchase categories are selected and that requests always land at the right person for pre-approval. After a seamless approval flow, employees receive a unique virtual card for each purchase that is tied to the approved amount and request. This ensures compliance and transparency throughout the entire organization. BSH employees can even request virtual cards that can be charged multiple times from the same service provider, offering an excellent tool for purchases like social media campaigns and subscriptions.
